  2. Cotton to Gold opened to the public in January 2015 and brought together Lancashire's extraordinary museum and art gallery collections in London for the first time. With free admission to Two Temple Place, it was also another opportunity for the public to explore our beautiful building.
  3. In mid-January, following months of careful preparations, the exhibition objects arrived in London and the installation began. Cotton to Gold was made up of collections from Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery, Towneley Hall in Burnley and the Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington.
  4. After two weeks of hard work getting the building ready, we launched the exhibition with a bustling private view on the evening of Thursday 29th January...
  5. News that we were opening our doors again was starting to spread, with excellent press coverage appearing throughout January and February.
