Spike Lee Invades Murray State

Spike Lee: Film director, producer, writer, actor, and now educator? Murray State University was graced with Lee's intellectual insight on Monday night at Lovett Auditorium.


  1. It's a dull roar as the stage awaits Spike Lee and his Presidential Lecture. 
  2. At around 7:00 p.m., Lovett Auditorium did not have much of a crowd. However, as time passed, the audience population began to rise, for Lee's address began at 7:30 p.m. 
  3. The audience was not just a cluster full of Murray State students forced to be there for a class assignment. Lee attracted a wide range of audience members.  
  4. One could feel the excitement from the crowd as the time grew closer to 7:30 p.m.
