  1. Thank you for joining me on this very cold(?) summer morning! This is Alex Cohen, a rising Weinberg Senior, a SIGP recipient and an #internsofnu taking over for the day! I am interning at The Field Museum as an exhibition developer and am delighted to share what I do each day. Over the course of the day, you will hopefully find out that there is a lot more to this Museum than meets the eye! #takenutoworkday #mysigpstory

  2. Celebrating/mourning the departure of my colleague, Tonika. She works in audience insights, doing lots and lots of visitor surveys. Surveying is a significant part of my job, perhaps I'll post a picture of me in action later today...Not pictured: cake, coffee, and berries! #tnu2wd #internsofnu #mysigpstory

  3. These fossils are hanging out in the curator's lab, waiting to be featured in our upcoming Antarctic Dinosaurs exhibition. Today, we met with the curator to figure out how they should be oriented in their cases. #tnu2wd #internsofnu

  4. In my unbiased opinion, the best lunch view in the city, though better when not cloudy! #internsofnu #tnu2wd #mysigpstory

  5. How often do you look up when visiting The Field Museum? Directly behind the paneled windows above Sue is my office, on the closed-to-the-public 4th floor. Important work is happening all around at The Field Museum: underneath your feet, behind your back, and even above your head! #tnu2wd #internsofnu
  6. Searching for inscriptions in an old German book for the upcoming Ancient Mediterranean Cultures in Contact exhibition. My major is Classics, and this exhibition will have tons of Greek and Roman artifacts, so I am very in my element. I started off the summer working mostly on this exhibition, and transferred to other projects as I developed my skill set. #tnu2wd #internsofnu #mysigpstory

  7. And I'm out! Thanks for joining me today at The Field Museum. If you want to know more about the behind the scenes life at the museum, I'm always happy to Field questions. #tnu2wd #internsofnu #mysigpstory
