A Global InterAction Day for #WorldwithoutWalls

Palestine, Mexico, Berlin, Northern Ireland, Brazil’s favelas, New York ... + 400 organizations from over 30 countries united on November 9 for a #WorldwithoutWalls in protests against the Walls in Palestine and worldwide, militarizations of borders, repression in societies and corporate impunity.

  2. November 9 has given momentum for convergence of global struggles for justice, freedom and equality. The Global Day of InterAction was launched by Palestinian and Mexican movements on the date that simultaneously marks the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the International Day against Israel’s Apartheid Wall and a year since Donald Trump has been elected president with the promise to build more of the wall to the US border with Mexico.

  6. The Mexico-US Border Encounter has brought together Mexican, US and Palestinian activists in a powerful moment of unity for a #WorldwithoutWalls.

  8. Jamal Juma' (StopTheWall.org), Pedro Charbel (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement) and Nellie Jo David (Tohono O'odham) speak on BDS and how to connect struggles at the Border Encuentro in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.)

A series of almost continued initiatives have created momentum for a #WorldwithoutWalls: Starting with the the Mexican-US delegation to Palestine for a World without Walls (October 10-15), continuing with the actions during the Global Week of Action against Corporate Impunity (October 23-27) and the International Caravan for the Unity of the People and against the Walls of Infamy (October 31 - November 11), which made its way from Oaxaca through Mexico towards the US border Wall.

The Global Week of Mobilization to #EndCorporateImpunity and for a #BindingTreaty on transnational corporations and human rights, which has brought together over 170 delegates of social movements from across the world, has joined in the call for a #WorldwithoutWalls with actions and workshops.
