- Smoky Hill is not the only school showing its condolences to the death of Callbeck. Grandview, Eaglecrest and Rangview are some of the schools supporting the Smoky Girls lacrosse.

- Hanane Assougdam is a sophomore on the team. During the game, Assougdam had made her first goal and later to find that Callbeck was hurt and getting sent to the hospital. Assougdam did not know about the death until the next day from her teammates. "They told me what happened and I couldn't breath, my stomach dropped. It was the worst news I have ever heard in my life...I was in pain," Assougdam said.
