- Okay, I tried a little Twitter experiment last night. I get told over and over again that Gamergate doesn't condone harassment. I don't believe it, but in good faith I put this tweet out there.
- The charity-funding, I later discovered, was an attempt to shame an anti-GG writer at Gawker for a pro-bullying joke. But that's neither here nor there.
- ("Literally Who" 1, 2 and 3 is what Gamergaters refer to these three women as.)
- This is important - only one (Anita) is a journalist. Only one (Zoe) is accused of ethics violations, and in her case Gamergate has backpedaled desperately in an attempt to distance the movement from her (Hence, "Literally Who")
- (cut to 54 minutes after the initial post)
- (I wish I'd taken a better picture.)
- At this point, I switched over to trying to make the case more sincerely. I could not keep my sarcasm from creeping in, but I made the best possible case I could because I sincerely believe it would be Gamergate's best move.
