Furniture polishing is probably one of my least favorite chores to do, and I tend to put it off as much as I can. Since I do put it off so much, my wood tends to get dull fast, and even after I have polished and cleaned, it tends to look a little lackluster.
I have tried other wood polishes in the past, and some of them were decent, but nothing that really blew me away and gave my wood the look it should have.
I happened to catch a commercial for Dutch Glow one night. Now while I'm usually skeptical about products advertised on TV, I figured for the price of $10 plus shipping and handling I would give it a try and see how it went.
Here are the features of Dutch Glow:- Reveals the wood's natural beauty- Removes years of wax buildup- Works on any wood surface including painted surfaces.- Cleans, polishes and nourishes- Helps repel dust- One hundred year old woodworkers formula
My personal experience with Dutch Glow
Ordering online was easy, and I would actually recommend ordering online as opposed to calling them. You can call them if you prefer to go that route, but from what I've heard from others, there will be a long hold time. I just ordered online because I didn't want to deal with it.
My order arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. It looked like it got a rough handle in transit (not Dutch Glows fault!), but everything arrived intact and not even dented.
The first thing I noticed when I set out to use my Dutch glow for the first time is that the scent was fairly pleasant. For me, it was not overly fake or chemical and I like that. I am very sensitive to different scents and so I am careful about what I use, it was pleasant to have a decent scent for my wood milk.
Dutch Glow was also very easy to use. I just followed the directions on the bottle and I used the polishing cloth that came along with it to make sure I got the full advantage of the system as it should be used.
What a difference!
While you do have to put a little bit of effort in, I found this was by far the easiest to use product I have used on my wood surfaces, and it took all of the dull and worrisome grime off my wood furniture. I don’t think any of my furniture looked this good when I first got it and I am very pleased with the results.
We have one coffee table that I always try to hide or put a large book on when company comes over because it has a nasty ring mark on it that stands out starkly. Or I should more accurately say we did have one; I used the Dutch Glow on it and with some proper buffing, no more ring. The coffee table looks brand new!
I have decided I will never be without Dutch Glow in my cleaning line up again. I am actually taking a bit of joy in cleaning my wood surfaces and furniture because I am seeing the results. I can see the shine and health of my wood. I truly appreciate the different grains and feelings now. I would recommend this to anyone like me who wants an easier way to keep your wood furniture clean and looking great.
Best Place to Buy Dutch Glow?
The best deal I have seen is right from the official website. Not only do you get the lowest price by buying direct from the manufacturer, but they also offer some good bonuses too like a buy one get one free offer. Like I mentioned earlier, I'd recommend ordering online as opposed to calling, otherwise you may be put on hold for a while.
Wrap UpIt's not very often that I come across a product advertised on TV that actually works as it should. Dutch Glow Amish Wood Milk is the exception though. I have been very pleased with the effectiveness of Dutch Glow in cleaning all of my wood surfaces. It really does bring out the wood's natural shine and beauty. It's inexpensive and comes with a money back guarantee, so you have literally nothing to lose by trying it out. Give it a shot - you won't be disappointed.
