Established in 1910, EVCC provides family-oriented golf, social, and relaxation experiences through a variety of programs. One such program is the Junior Golf Program. This program was designed to introduce the game of golf to young players while also providing them with the opportunity to learn and advance alongside their peers.

Through the EVCC Junior Golf Program, participants learn about a wide range of basic golf skills and techniques. They are instructed on golf course etiquette, competition and general golf rules, and the fundamentals of the golf swing. Young golfers are encouraged to attend all of the program’s scheduled golf clinics to keep up their skills and participate in EVCC’s Junior Play Days. These two events are only open to juniors who are age 6 and older and they are held on regularly scheduled dates.

Each individual participating in the Junior Golf Program receives a shirt on the first day of instruction. Shirt colors are based on each golfer’s age group. Parent walkers are paired with junior groups during play days to ensure juniors navigate the golf course and keep score properly.
