Open Data Camp 3: mostly in pics

Open Data Camp is a two-day, weekend event, entirely devoted to Open Data. It loosely follows the ‘Unconference‘ format. Open Data Camp 3 was held in Bristol, May 14-15 2016, organised by a group of volunteers, active in the UK Open Data ecosystem; this storify is by Pauline Roche (@paulineroche)

  1. The organising team chose Bristol as the location for the third Open Data Camp and you'll see why from many of the pictures in this piece.
  2. Many people travelled from all over the UK to get to #ODCamp
  3. Our MC from Open Data Camp 1 in Winchester, and someone who is involved with several other camps, James Cattell, was back on the team for this one
  4. ...and most of the rest of the organising team met up for a pre-event meal at the local Pieminister, organised by Angharad Stone
  5. One participant flew in on Saturday morning...
  6. ...but on Friday night the organising team was still making final preparations...
  7. ...and by Saturday morning we were all set for kick-off
  8. The team had a stand-up at the start of each day, identifying tasks and working to help each other overcome any barriers
