Yes, I understand that flash photography is terrible, but I didn't get a chance to get a photo with (who founded this magical event) until the VIP party, and so here it is in all of its flash photography glory. I love all of the amazing folks that I met at #BinderCon (the last person I had a conversation with got my info to put in a good word for my novel at a particular publishing house -- NETWORKING!); though I wish I'd been able to go to all of the panels, I'm so grateful that they were all recorded/taped (thanks, Knight Foundation!), I'm so grateful to the team at BinderCon for putting this together and so well, and I'm so grateful to what I think I heard was an out-the-door packed crowd for my workshop for being there (but especially for laughing at my jokes). This is turning into an Oscar speech, but really, it was amazing and spirit-boosting. Most of all, I'm grateful for this weekend for helping to remind me of this: I am a writer, forever and ever amen.
