Refugee Week Conference 2018

On a chilly February morning, over 250 people from across UK gathered at Amnesty International in Shoreditch to prepare for the special 20th edition of Refugee Week (18-24 June 2018). They talked, listened, ate and shared ideas on how we can use arts and culture to stand with refugees


  1. Refugee Week is a national festival that celebrates what refugees bring to the UK and uses arts, culture and education to bring to people from different communities together.
  2. Anyone can hold an event or activity, and the Refugee Week Conference was a chance for activists, artists, NGOs, teachers, young people (and more) to share information and inspiration for their Refugee Week activities...
