Each Baby Counts
On Thursday 23 October, the RCOG is launching a new five year project which aims to reduce by 50% the number of stillbirths, early neonatal deaths and brain injuries occurring in the UK as a result of incidents during term labour by 2020.

Experts aim to reduce stillbirthsA five-year plan to halve the number of stillbirths, newborn deaths and baby brain injuries in the UK has been launched. About 500 babies a year died or were left severely disabled by labour complications, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists said.
