Libraries Change Lives

On the 16th of June we celebrated the launch of the Libraries Change Lives publication and the official end of our Library Tour through the Public Libraries of Europe. It was an inspiring journey, filled with meaningful stories which all lead to one conclusion: Libraries Change Lives.


  1. This year we visited 21 libraries across 15 European countries, seeing first-hand how innovative public libraries have been making positive impacts on their communities.

  6. and Members of European Parliament, passionate about the importance of public libraries in their constituencies.

  8. The message from all was clear: Promoting digital inclusion, lifelong learning and social inclusion, Libraries Change Lives.

  9. And so to conclude the PL2020 Libraries Tour,we brought this message to the heart of EU policy making in Brussels.
