POTTSTOWN The nonprofit groups that want to convert the vacant Feceras furniture warehouse building at the corner of Beech and Evans streets into apartments for artists are hoping the third time is the charm.
POTTSTOWN >> With a 6-2 vote, borough council grudgingly agreed Monday night to pen a letter of support for the project hoping to rehabilitate the old Fecera’s Furniture warehouse into 43 apartments aimed at artists.
The fate of the proposed redevelopment of the former Fecera’s warehouse on Beech Street now lies with the Pottstown Zoning Hearing Board on an issue of parking that a year ago would not have been questioned.
