Supporters were vocal in their support yesterday, even as the predicted margins narrowed.

In the wee hours of the morning, Bachmann was announced the winner.
And supporters rejoiced.
Bachmann herself did not make a statement after the win but did tweet.
Her victory, like many of her past statements, instantly polarized Minnesota.

- — Brian J. Snyder (@BrianJSnyder)Wed, Nov 07 2012 14:01:40I hope one of two things come from the 6th district race: a kindler, gentler Bachmann or congressman Graves in 2014. #mnvote
Bachmann's challenger considered a recount.
But eventually decided against it.
Michele Bachmann holds on
The three-term Congresswoman, known for her unabashed, polarizing views and a prolific -- if brief -- run for the presidency earlier this year, narrowly held onto her Sixth Congressional District seat.
