Protesters at Southern California air district meeting say voluntary regulations aren't enough

  1. Southern California's air quality regulators met Friday to vote on imposing voluntary emissions limits for the region's ports, rail yards or warehouse complexes.
  2. Board members for South Coast Air Quality Management, say they want to work with the cargo-handling industry to come up with goals before it makes formal rules.
  3. But some disagree with the method and showed up at the meeting to protest the plan, saying it's too weak.
  4. Reporter David Danelski covered the meeting and captured the protests.
  5. The protests comes after a USC study found that air pollution is linked to Alzheimer's disease.
