The 16 Lead PBS Digital Innovators and representatives from their stations gathered at PBS headquarters for an amazing two days of collaboration and learning, joined virtually by the rest of the Class of 2014 PBS Digital Innovators. Catch up with all of the action here!

  1. We started the buzz on Twitter well before the summit using #PBSDIsummit, which spread like wildflowers! 
  2. Our Lead PBS Digital Innovators and a representative from their local PBS station were given the red carpet treatment as they arrived at PBS Headquarters to kickoff day 1 and took advantage of all of the wonderful photo opps at PBS headquarters!
  3. Attendees were greeted at their tables with some fun objects to pass the time with, setting a playful, yet educational tone for this year's PBS Digital Innovators Summit.
  4. Excitement was in the air as the day 1 sessions kicked off with Alicia Levi, VP of Education and John Sessler, Manager of Program Engagement welcoming the team to PBS and sharing many of the new stats and features of PBS LearningMedia. PBS LearningMedia currently houses 87,000 educational resources and has over 1.5 million registered users, representing 30 million students nationwide!
  5. Day 1 featured a panel of PBS LearningMedia experts - 2013 PBS Digital Innovator and teacher Emily Dawson, EdTech expert Mike Gorman and PBS LearningMedia Lead Teacher Pam Thornton. They were a hit with the crowd!
