  1. An 8mm film production class. Assignments included a music video (we did I fought the law by The Clash and "robbed" Catfish Biff's), an informercial (the blend-o-matic 5000 will make you popular with the ladies), a nightly news show and random student interviews. Such fun!
  2. The History of South Africa. Fanastic class!!!
  3. All of my Journalism classes, especially getting to write and edit for The Lantern.
  4. Sociology of Culture grad seminar with Vinnie Roscigno - changed how I think, taught me methods of analysis I had never heard of, and made me a better sociologist. Professor Roscigno helped facilitate a community that still exists today. Oh, and the bagels didn't hurt. :)
  5. History 668.01 taught by Dr. A.R. Millett. His verbal description of the Battle of Cowpens was so livid and memorable that when I finally toured the battlefield there 25 years later, I was able to relay to my family the deployment of the various troops precisely. He didn't just make history come alive, he made it thunder!
  6. I took this pic yesterday...Ovalwood Hall still beautiful after 50 years!!
