Updates from 95th American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting

Many Ohio Farm Bureau members and staff will travel to San Antonio Jan. 12-15 to celebrate this past year's achievements and represent Ohio as Farm Bureau policy priorities are set for the coming year. Follow along here as we share the story from the digital eyes and ears of those in attendance.


  1. American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting has wrapped up but here are a few of the highlights you will find in the tweets and other digital posts from attendees below:
    - Ohio Farm Bureau was awarded the New Horizon Award.
    - Dr. Emily Buck was named in the top three in the Young Farmers and Ranchers Excellence in Agriculture Award competition.
    - Four county Farm Bureaus (Carroll, Franklin/Madison, Highland and Marion) had displays in the tradeshow to showcase their County Activities of Excellence award winning programs.
    - Delegates set policy to guide American Farm Bureau for the coming year.

  4. ~ Today, many who attended annual meeting are beginning to head home. But in many ways the real work is just beginning with the delegate session kicking off. In this session delegates from all states will vote on proposed policies the will be used to guide American Farm Bureau in the coming year.
