  8. The members resoundingly voted to reject the "Investing in Educational Success" policy.

  10. An alternative approach to IES was developed called "Better Plan". A calculator was developed so anyone could compare "Better Plan" with "Investing in Educational Success".
  11. On 10 December 2014 - NZEI Te Riu Roa and the Ministry of Education agreed to work together on a new initiative that will support children’s education at every level of their learning.

  14. Working parties were established to look at collaboration, transition and success for Maori and Pasifika learners. These working parties looked for examples of successful practice throughout New Zealand.
