- Campaign engagement increased over 350% from last year with about 485 answers in 143 posts shared between April and June 2017. We saw a boost in organization participation with 33 different groups sharing their thoughts, many of which were new from the previous year. Answers were submitted in multiple languages and covered a range of individual action steps and systemic adjustments to support elders and address abuse risk factors.
- On June 15th, the campaign hashtag #WEAAD and #WEAAD2017 trended on Twitter with over 17,800 posts from advocates around the globe commemorating WEAAD. Tweets from Ageless Alliance on this day alone showed up in user newsfeeds 18,320 times, with impressions throughout June reaching 82,000. The NCEA tweets on WEAAD showed up in user newsfeeds 9,600 times, with impressions throughout June reaching 55,800 impressions.
