- The show, which has run since October, was set to close after the weekend. A nanosecond after news of people fighting their way in broke, the great Russian humor mill began churning out a comical response. Cue the Confused Travolta meme...

She's clearly not impressed with the almost-stampede: "That feeling when you've been sitting here with peaches since October and they break down the doors in January..."

- Maybe the rush to get into the exhibition happened because of some dubious characters joining the queue? Here's Sharikov, writer Mikhail Bulgakov's man with a dog's heart (or rather dog with a man's body), announcing his plans: "I'm going to get in line. For the Serov show."
