MARIHE consortium expanding in Hungary and India
- The first of the two, LM Thapar School of Management, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Thapar University, India, and MARIHE Secretariat at Danube University Krems, have already in the autumn of 2016, on the basis of Memorandum of Understanding, implemented a study exchange. The incoming students from LM Thapar School of Management, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, have attended the modules in Krems, for which they have been rewarded ECTS, recognized at their alma mater.
- MARIHE programme is managed at the LM Thapar School of Management (LMTSM), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, as part of Thapar University, located in Patiala. The LMTSM will lead the courses on Systems in Transition, in India. The incoming cohort of 2017 will have the possibility to choose whether to attend the courses of the first half of the 3rd semester in China or in India.
- MARIHE-5 cohort starting off their 1st semester in Krems, has been the witness of this innovative cooperation between the Asian system in transition knowledge economy and the flagship programme of EU in higher education management and research –MARIHE.
- The second incoming consortium partner, Eötvös Lorand University (ELTE), Budapest, Hungary, is going to host the incoming cohort of 2017 in the second part of their 3rd semester and the 4th semester. At ELTE, MARIHE programme will be managed by the Centre for Higher Education and Innovation Research (CHEIR), which will lead the specialization “Learning and Teaching”.
