- Developer Brianna Wu has been tweeting about "safety concerns" around PAX East for several days. Recently, she inadvertendly retweeted an image showing an anti-GamerGater making threats against gamers. She was under the mistaken impression that the tweeter was supportive of GamerGate.

- It belongs to the user "elotente", who goes by the display name "Rubby Johnny".
- Here are the tweets in question, which were originally made in early October.

- It seems obvious that he is both anti-gamer and anti-gamergate. But the tweets are still a little ambiguous, so maybe Wu just made a mistake.

- Threats of violence against #GamerGate supporters will be of no surprise to anyone who has followed the hashtag since the beginning. In the early days of the hashtag, threats against gamergate supporters were commonplace, although they received sparse attention from the media.
