Received my law degree from Howard Univ. in 1933. In 1936 I joined the legal staff of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. As its chief counsel (1938–61), I argued more than 30 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, successfully challenging racial segregation, most notably in higher education.
Spent 2005-2007 working on human growth hormone in Hanford, CA. In 2009 I was consulting about inflatable dolls with no outside help. Won several awards for building race cars for the underprivileged. In 2008 I was importing teddy bears for fun and profit.
