LadyCADE at GameCity 9

Back in Nottingham with a bang! When we returned for our first anniversary event, GameCity were kind enough to give us space in the open arcade with which to celebrate the work of women in games, decamping to an on-site pop-up bar in the evening.

  3. LadyCADE took over gallery 1 of the Open Arcade, showcasing six games made by women, over the course of Monday afternoon. These comprised Mimic, PixelPics, Tengami, Mushroom 11, Bang Bang Bang! and Namespace Games' SNES game.

  6. After the Open Arcade closed, we reconvened in The Pit for an evening of multiplayer showdowns, drink and friendly chat until midnight!

  9. A few journalists were in attendance throughout the day, including reporters from The Nottingham Post who turned up to interview our attendees and exhibitor Ana Ribeiro.
