#lvc4change

Lebanon Valley College students organized a walk-out and march today as a strong statement against hatred and discrimination, and as an assertion of inclusivity and acceptance. Students have adopted the hashtag #lvc4change as a way to keep the conversation going on social media.

  2. Lebanon Valley College students, alumni, staff, parents, and community partners, make your voices heard. We are called to be agents of change. We are compelled to renounce the acts of racism that have plagued our campus this week. We will stand together as one community committed to equality. Create your social media posts using #lvc4change to make this the only narrative of LVC

  7. It was so inspiring seeing the majority of our campus march in black and stand up against hate crimes. LOVE CONQUERS HATE. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." -Martin Luther King Jr. #RejectRacism #lvc4change @lebanonvalleycollege #golvc 💗

  11. Today I participated in #lvc4change an event spurred by negative discriminatory acts on campus. The students of LVC showed solidarity and support for all those in our community with a walk-out. This is just the start, it's a hard road but change will come with an open dialogue and sincere understanding. This is not just about race or religion but everything hateful and negative. We can begin a positive change in this world and we will. ❤️️
