Primary care experience day London 21.4.15

Health care leaders from around the world come to learn about primary care and GP commissioning in and around London. We are all attending the BMJ / IHI International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.


  1. During the morning we visited different sites.
  2. One of the morning visits was to Bromley by Bow health living centre in Tower Hamlets. Dr Sam Everington, Chair of CCG facilitating
  3. Another group visited Docklands Medical Centre run by the Hurley group. The Hurely group is the biggest GP provider in London. They show cased their use of technology to improve health
  4. One group visited Dr Gary Marlowe, a GP who developed his practice in City and Hackney, transforming it to become an exemplar
  5. One group headed to Croydon to visit Dr Agnelo Fernandes, a GP and urgent care lead at the RCGP and involved in commissioning local services
