Prince was as much a master of reinvention as he was a master of his craft. He changed his name at least seven times and spanned several genres with his music. He played various instruments and he was a producer, an actor, and a director as well as a legendary singer and song writer.
It's hard to deny that Prince changed the music landscape. His incredible vocal range, funky guitar licks, and brilliantly written songs revolutionized the R&B genre and inspired multiple generations and countless future performers. We were heartbroken to learn that the artist died at the age of 57 on April 21, but we're celebrating the legacy he left behind by reminiscing on his best looks throughout the years.
I remember when I first saw Prince. I was 7 or 8, and I was confused. My mind - naive, affixed to what society had told me to expect from men - couldn't wrap itself around the idea that the velvety voice that sung about 1999 and red Corvettes came from the same man with the freshly laid hair.
