How to End Homelessness: Ask the Experts

On June 29, 2016 A group of advocates got together on Twitter to propose solutions to homelessness

  1. Their effort was in conjunction with a "flood" of media coverage that day known as #SFHomelessProject. The Tweetchat gave advocates a forum to counter some of the stereotypes about homeless people perpetuated by the media and others, and share their expert perspectives and resources on the systemic causes of poverty and homelessness and what solutions would look like.
  2. Homeless people are individuals with many different stories, just like people with homes. Tweetchat participants shared their knowledge about the people living without homes in America.
  3. With more people over 50 at risk of and becoming homeless, and the population at large aging, the homeless population is also aging. What does that look like now and what will it look like in the future?
