  6. School Council News:

  7. We are looking for volunteers to help with Bingo. This is a great way to support our school as the funds earned support the purchase of technology, subsidize transportation and sports activities and allow purchases for our outdoor classroom. A one time training session is a 30 minute commitment and we are happy to have you come, even for a single shift.
  8. Our next dates are:
  9. Sunday, April 16 - 4-6pm and 6-8pm
    Sunday, May 21 - 4-6pm and 6-8pm
    Sunday, June 25 - 12-2pm and 2-4pm
  10. Please join us at our next school council meeting Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00pm in our Learning Commons at the school.

  11. Stevensville School Heritage Fair

  12. The Heritage Fair Showcase will be hosted in the gym on Friday, April 7. Intermediate students will be presenting their projects highlighting the milestones, achievements, landmarks, and significant accomplishments of Canadians. Projects will be setup and available for viewing from 10am-2pm. Please stop by to view the showcase!

  13. Autism Awareness Month

  14. April is Autism Awareness Month. We will be recognizing this with a few events and fundraising opportunities with proceeds going to Autism Ontario. Donations are not required to participate, but there will be a collection on April 21st.
  15. April 4 -Blue Day (wear all your blue clothing and accessories)
  16. April 13 - Funky Sock Day (have fun sporting your funkiest funky socks or tights)
  17. April 21 - Hats Off to Autism (make a donation and wear your special hat in support of Autism Awareness)
