  3. Why SHE invests in the small things. Sustainable Health Enterprises (SHE) knows that the small things can make the biggest difference in the lives of girls in Rwanda. Pamela, Aline I., Aline U., and Diane share how a book, a watch, a menstrual pad, and more empower them to lead their best lives.
  4. WISER Girls were born to be seen. WISER, which celebrates its fourth graduating class this year, works with girls in Muhuru Bay, Kenya, to transcend poverty, HIV/AIDS, and gender-based violence. By providing girls with quality education, health information, and creating opportunities for girls' psychosocial support, WISER empowers young women to drive change in their lives and their communities. Fundacion Juanfe helps level the playing field in Cartagena, Colombia by providing high-quality technical and professional education to teen mothers living in extreme poverty. For Catalina Escobar, Founder and President of Juanfe Foundation, it has been awe-inspiring and rewarding to witness the young women she works with take ownership of their futures.   6. Maskrosbarn's "Dandelion Children" push past the shame of troubled homes. Maskrosbarn means "dandelion children" in Swedish. At Maskrosbarn's 10-day camp, children who come from troubled homes are given the opportunity to persist and thrive under harsh conditions — much like dandelions. Jessika Avik was 17 years old when she first participated in Maskrosbarn's camp. A year later, she returned as a youth leader, and three years later, she became a camp leader. Jessika shares her story and why she is committed to coming back to Maskrosbarn as a mentor:

  8. TADA mentors become role models. In Brussels, Belgium, the ToekomstATELIERdelAvenir (TADA) partnership aims to build disadvantaged youth's resilience and self-confidence. The partnership brings together youth and inspiring leaders from various fields, including lawyers, doctors, musicians, police officers, and engineers, who encourage the children and teenagers to explore their interests and nurture their potential.
  9. Rodica shares her journey to becoming a doctor. "I've always wanted to go to medical school, and when I became part of the B2E program, the true journey started." For the last 25 years, B2E has been preparing youth around the world for bright futures. Through experiences such as interacting with medical students, learning about Johnson & Johnson's history, visiting universities and hospitals, and shadowing doctors, Rodica Draganoiu's passion for medicine grew, and with the support of B2E, she is in her first year at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy.   11. Through hands-on workshops, youth across Puerto Rico stand up to substance abuse and violence. At the Student Congress of Prevention, "Transforming Vision into Action," nearly 500 students from San Lorenzo, Las Piedras and Manatí learned to be prevention leaders to keep their communities drug-free and support those who are struggling with substance abuse or from violence. The Johnson & Johnson WISTEM2D Scholars Program aims to fuel the development of female STEM2D leaders and feed the STEM2D talent pipeline by awarding and sponsoring women at critical points in their research careers in each of the STEM2D disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design.
