Israel- Promoting Equal Rights for People with Disabilities

This week Israel held two main events as part of the 8th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.


  1. A feast for the Senses

  2. Last night more than 35 UN diplomats attended a unique dinner hosted by the Israeli Mission to the UN and Access Israel. The full course meal simulated disability & sensory loss in order to promote awareness to accessibility for people with disabilities.

  7. Innovative Technology for a Better Quality of Life for People with Disabilities

  8. Israel is know as the Start-Up Nation, innovating creative solutions. Israel, together with the Mission of Germany & Beit Issie Shapiro, held a special panel discussing how innovative technology can improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
