  1. Ever wondered what it would be like to be in a refugee camp and be told you are making the trip to Australia?
  2. Wondered how a refugee learns what life is like over the other side of the world?
  3. The Pathway to protection social media campaign showcases a series of videos giving a unique insight into these kinds of questions and a firsthand look at the journey of the Rai family from a camp in Nepal to their new home and life in Australia.
  4. The campaign coincides with Refugee Week 2013 which provides an opportunity to celebrate the journeys and the amazing achievements of refugees who have settled in our communities.
  5. This year the department celebrates a major milestone having settled  800 000 refugees and other humanitarian entrants since the end of World War II.
