  1. Statement from Leon County Chairwoman Mary Ann Lindley: “Like many in our community, I awakened to the tragic news of the shooting on Florida State University's campus. On behalf of the Leon County Board of County Commissioners
    and all the employees in Leon County Government, I send our love, positive thoughts, and prayers to the family of the students affected and the strong FSU family of which they are a part. Our hearts are heavy. This is our community; one. Words are not enough, so we stand ready to assist and support President Thrasher, the FSU administration, and the FSU family in any way we can; respecting the moment, healing together, and preparing to move forward.”
