Harding: "Best Road Trip Destination in College Basketball"

Intersport announced Feb. 25 that Harding University had won the title of "Best Road Trip Destination in College Basketball presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car." CBS came March 2 to film the Rhodes Rowdies in action at Harding's home games against SE Oklahoma.

  1. Students, faculty and staff picked up tickets from the GAC a few days before game. The games completely sold out as Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Morgan promised to give away a set of tickets to the Final Four to two lucky Harding students. The day of the game, support flooded in from the Harding community. Students on campus were excited as well as alumni from all around the country.
  2. A line began to form outside of the Rhodes about 11 a.m. as students' anticipation grew as the last home games of the season approached.
