Building on the success of BU's Global Festival of Learning China in 2016, BU is taking this week-long international celebration of learning, research and practice to one of the fastest growing economies in the world again in 2017, with various events taking place in Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Beijing.

  2. Beijing Normal University Zhuhai (BNUZ) was our partner institution for the first leg of the Global Festival of Learning China 2017 in the thriving city of Zhuhai, South East China.

  6. The Festival continued with an insightful session featuring three keynote speakers, senior leaders from the UK and China regional governments, who discussed the implications and opportunities of China’s ‘Belt and Road Strategy.’ The talks touched upon current approaches in promoting a sustainable economy through the development of regional collaborations.

  8. The first pannel discussion at the 2017 Global Festival of Learning in China brought together expertise
    from BU, BNUZ and regional employers as well as government officials from the UK and China, to discuss the different challenges facing both countries from a cross-sectoral perspective.
