The final day, leading up to the award luncheon with Senator Baldwin, kicked off with the Morning Buzz.
The buzz of conversations kept attendees focused on new ideas, peer learning, and topics of shared interests.
After the buzz, 2016 MacArthur Fellow Anne Basting, founder of Timeslips Creative Storytelling, led an interactive plenary session with her Timeslips crew: Angela Fingard (master trainer and project manager) and Sammy Goodrich (Stage Right Founder and Timeslips Master Trainer).
The plenary session explored how to use imagination to build community and strengthen the bonds between generations.
Shout out Shannon Jarrott for making sure this session ran smooth.
The crowd went energized into the final round of workshops.
Senator Tammy Baldwin arrived!
Generations United honored Senator Baldwin during the Janet Sainer luncheon, named for the late pioneer who dedicated her life to helping grandfamilies and championing older adults.
Shout out to Jaia, who emceed the luncheon.
