A year of community giving in 2016

Every year, FortisBC invests in a variety of community initiatives that support stronger, healthier BC communities. We strongly encourage the active involvement of our employees by volunteering their time and energy towards the wellbeing of local communities.

  1. As part of our work with Linda at Aboriginal Mother Centre Society we provided welcome kits with conservation items to families transitioning to permanent housing. Families that received a kit were entered to win a blanket woven with a traditional symbol to represent ‘mother earth’.
