  2. #Methuen Mayor Stephen Zanni Issues State of Emergency Declaration as #MASandy approaches. Methuen Mayor Zanni has issued a State of Emergency for the City in anticipation of heavy winds that are moving in. Heavy damaging winds are expected beginning at 3:00 PM and extending for 12 – 18 hours.
    The Mayor asks that all non-essential emergency personnel remain off City streets and inside suitable shelter. It is highly recommended that all NON-Emergency travel be avoided until the high winds have subsided.
  3. Please use caution when travelling in Methuen near "Five Corners" (Lowell, Osgood, Railroad, Pelham) The wind has turned the traffic light and may be confusing to drivers.
