The Impact of Flash on virtual servers, databases and virtual desktops workloads, by Itzik Reich, Field CTO, Principal SE

Itzik talked about all things Flash and XtremIO (and no things end-user computing)

"Everyone tells you here, Flash will save your soul!! But Flash is just media. Just moving to flash will not fix everything. It’s just an enabler. It will allow you to do things in a completely different way. Flash can help you harvest entirely new capabilities."

He also discussed the two biggest challenges in the modern data center
    - modern data center: thousands of VM’s = I/O blender.
    - provisioning and cloning new VM’s
  5. We also talked all things Cloud with Tyler Britten, Principal Technical Marketing Manager, and Rick Scherer, Principal SE
  6. In other eventful news, #VMworld attendees flocked to the vBlogger panel to ask the experts any and all of their questions
  7. Next up: party party party!! Stay tuned for more updates on the #VMworld party, featuring a performance by the Black Keys
