  1. Ok I'm officially halfway through #IronFist (Jus finished episode 7) and I can tell you it's not terrible. It's not the greatest either. It's supposed to be a damn #KungFu show so I expected more Kung Fu, less corporate drama. I like the Meachum's, dad and kids—they're creepy yo and #ColleenWing is one of the best things about the show. I like Danny. He's naive AF, which I guess separates him from the other Defenders. The whole thing with the antagonists (The Hand) is still cloudy, but hopefully by the end of the season things will be more clear. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I've been live tweeting the show on my Twitter and I'll repost the thread @ the Link in my BIO👊

  2. #IronFist Season One Review: Let me start off saying, it was cool. I liked it for the most part. I liked DANNY RAND and COLLEEN WING and I liked THE MEACHUMS, all three of them. Once again, THE HAND leaves much to be desired. (I wasn't crazy about them in Daredevil Season Two either). MADAME GAO is too damn mysterious. What's her deal. I knew from her first introduction in Daredevil Season One that she was an Iron Fist villain, but in the Iron Fist show—we still don't know.🙄 The story too was problematic. Was it a corporate drama or a KungFu show? It tried to be both, but when the KungFu is this side of 'Walker Texas Ranger' you have a problem. There were some nice scenes here and there, especially with #ColleenWing, but the #DannyRand ones were only ok. For instance, the "Drunken Master" fight scene with Danny was dope—because of the Drunken Master #ZhouCheng (LEWIS TAN). Danny as a character was really, really green. He really acted like he was away from reality since he was a kid—and that hardly changed throughout the season. In the Season Finale he was WAY too hurt over a betrayal. I'm like THE HERO is supposed to figure that shit out, even if he's being lied to.🤷🏽‍♂️ The acting performances really save this show to me. TOM PELPHREY (Ward Meachum), DAVID WENHAM (Harold Meachum) SACHA DHAWAN (Davos) and RAMON RODRIGUEZ (Bakuto) were all great on the show. Even though JESSICA HENWICK (Colleen Wing) was pretty much "the girl", I like her character potential. And don't get it twisted I liked FINN JONES as Danny Rand. I just wished his fighting was a little more accomplished. This character was supposed to have trained for 15 years and it looked more like 15 days. To his credit—or discredit, however you want to look at it, I read that Finn Jones only had three (3) weeks to train for the show.😳 Hopefully by the time #TheDefenders come along he'll look a little more seasoned for I like him in the role. The show wasn't as terrible as the critics say, it did get better in the latter part of the season, but it could have been so much more. I also •LIVE•TWEETED• the season and I'll put the thread @ the Link in my BIO👊
