Old Country Buffet Coupons 2013 - Old Country Buffet Coupons 2013: You Need To travel to the Old Country Buffet? Why?!?! This was a question asked to my by my husband regarding a year ago. That was once I 1st found out about the Old Country Buffet (OCB). My husband had to open his big mouth in the future and tell me regarding this buffet style restaurant that serves all the comfort food that I crave. Myself being a "town girl", have never been to an actual buffet-style restaurant. They are few, and way between here in Brand-new York City. I simply had to go!! I don't grasp why, however I had to have this experience! The nearest OCB is concerning a 45 minute drive from our home. We have a tendency to were lucky enough to own Grandma supply to babysit our daughter, thus the expertise might be totally enjoyed. After we arrived on a crowded Saturday night, my husband winced at the sight of the line lierally going out the door, and round the building. Come on!! The line is moving quickly!!! My husband just rolled his eyes as I dragged him on this monumental line. A quick word. I've got a slight addiction with dining out. Back in my bachelorette days, operating as a waitress, each meal was out. I'm spoiled, I will admit it. I could of had my selection of any of my favorite restaurants. Restaurants in Spanking new York Town that some people would just die to travel to! Thus, once again, why the OCB? I still do not recognize the answer. I simply had a feeling that sensible food, and enjoyable were beyond that crazy line. I made use of to be on a mission! The line did move reletively quickly, and we were at the top of the road inside 10 minutes. Not dangerous for a Saturday night, where we have a tendency to would of waited a sensible hour anywhere else. Once we reached the register, the polite cashier asked usa if it was our first time at the OCB. I quickly answered yes! I was like a tourist in Times Sq., wide eyed at the location of it all! The manager, Harry, was gracious enough to come back out from behind the counter and display us how their system works. You are given an area card which you place on your table to carry it while you're filling (and refilling) your plates. When you are done together with your meal, simply turn your card over thus that the workers can clear the table. All in all, a reasonably simple and painless system. Harry then showed us to a snug booth, and wished us a sensible evening. A word on the booths. Both my husband and I aren't lightweights. My poor husband has been cramped in a not-wide-sufficient booth many times. These booths were terribly roomy. Their would of been plenty of area for a celebration of four, and a high chair on the end of the table. We place our place card on the table and went on a journey of the food islands. The first thing I saw was the dessert island (figures). Recent baked pastries, cakes, pies, and sticky buns were on demonstrate. Together with two soft serve ice cream machines, there was a nice selection. Secondly, we tend to saw a pair of large salad islands. Assorted salads, toppings, dressings, puddings, recent fruits, and soups were neatly displayed.
