#EUregions last link in the chain of decision-making but first in the contact with citizens says @MauroDattis #CoRplenary- Members from the full spectrum of political parties at CoR contributed to the debate, and for some new members it was the first opportunity they had to voice their point of view.
- Following several compromises and amendments the opinion was accepted - and was all the better for the revisions, said Rapporteur d'Attis.
- The next opinion, on the Marine Environment had very few amendments to go through before it was accepted. This would mark the German rapporteur's final #CoRplenary, before retiring from his post.
