- "Power of Food Festival led ride 1
Join Sustrans on one of their leisurely led rides visiting community food-growing gardens around the city as part of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling and the Power of Food Festival 2016. They’re running two rides and it’d be great to have you along.
Ride one (Haymarket to the Royal Botanical Gardens): Meet at Haymarket station at 10:30. They will visit Granton Library, Granton Community Orchard Garden and the Edible Gardening Project at the Royal Botanical Gardens. The ride will finish at the Royal Botanical Gardens at 14:00pm."
- I'm a relatively new cyclist, having bought a mountain bike in February this year and a hybrid in May. Before this I had a supermarket bike which I hardly ever used. But giving up my car in December last year and having to use public transport, living in a village, propelled me on to two wheels.
