@ChildRightsCnct member training on #CRC reporting

As it happened...

  1. 25 members of Child Rights Connect came together to develop their understanding of how children’s rights defenders, including children, can use and influence the different steps of the CRC reporting cycle. Key aims of the day were to share and learn from experiences and to develop our ideas for future engagement.
  2. Access further information including the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child's working methods on child participation. Have you read the UNCRC General Comment 12 on child participation?

  3. What are the official steps of the CRC reporting cycle? Does it include children's meetings or structured dialogue, for example? You can find out more on the Child Rights Connect CRC reporting mini-site.

  4. Have you accessed Child Rights Connect My Pocket Guide to CRC reporting

(also available in French and Spanish)? It's an introduction for children about the CRC, the Committee on the Rights of the Child and its reporting process. Many other of our helpful publications on the CRC reporting process available here!

  5. The day ended with a reception with new and existing CRC Committee members.
