This 2-day conference convened by Boris Jardine Boris Jardine, Matthew Drage and Ruth Horry (University of Cambridge) brought together scholars from a wide range of fields to discuss the aesthetics and political reality of the total archive.

  10. After a short introduction, the first session opened with Joanna Radin (Yale University). She looked at how archives that aim for totality are destabilized by the mutating nature of time in a paper entitled: Temporalizing Totality: Frozen Blood and Latent Life
