- Hermosa Beach was flooded with CrossFit competitors on Wednesday, July 22, in a contest to determine the fittest people on Earth. The CrossFit Games, an event expected to bring 50,000 people from around the world to StubHub Center, boasts $2 million in prize money. The event continues through Sunday.

This morning, teams took to the beach for Water Worm. The event tasked the six-member teams with 75 Worm deadlifts, a 500-yard swim with the rescue sled, 50 Worm deadlifts, another 500-yard swim with the sled and 25 Worm deadlifts.
