1996 - CENI produces first baseline study of evaluation practice in the NI voluntary sector.
1998 - Innovative self-evaluation guidelines developed and support provided for rural projects under LEADER II
2002 - Support programme developed for managers and staff in Craigavon Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust, leading to the production of Improving Practice: An Approach to Implementing Self-evaluation within Health and Social Services.
2005 - CENI Celebrates 10 Years
2005 - Three year funding from Big Lottery Fund to provide Training & Development Programme for groups with limited resources
2005 - Building on success of work with Craigavon & Banbridge Trust, new report produced ‘Strengthening Services – Benefits & Outcomes
of Self-evaluation Within Health and Social Care Provision
2007 - CENI becomes licensed by CES to deliver PQASSO training.
2008 - CENI is one of the founding partners in establishing the Building Change Trust - set up to manage a £10 million legacy from the Big Lottery Fund to support transformation within the sector over a ten year period 2008-2018.
