Why is this the Best #Twitch? Starting a business is difficult in SA. According to the World Bank Doing Business Report, we rank 44th/183 countries for 'Starting a Business'. Red tape is an issue for SME's, and the New Companies Act further complicates matters. Taking legal docs online is not necessarily new. Others are doing it. AngelList is doing it. But this #Twitch clearly identified a problem statement, offered a niche solution and also added a link to their website if the 'teaser' was interesting enough that you wanted to know more.
  4. BEST #TWITCH: RUNNERS-UP...
  5. (Clear, but the legalities and risk of drug trafficking could also put this one in 'Most Outrageous' Category ;-)
  6. AFRICAN SOLUTION: WINNER...
  7. Congrats!! You have won a paid for seat at an AngelHub Founders Dinner in Joburg or Cape Town with some of SA’s best young entrepreneurs.
Great concept - especially for a mobile solution - and well explained in the #Twitch. Interesting that the top 3 in this category offer African Solutions for Healthcare.
  8. AFRICAN SOLUTION: RUNNERS-UP...
  9. MOST OUTRAGEOUS #TWITCH: WINNER...
  10. Congrats!! You have won a paid for seat at an AngelHub Founders Dinner in Joburg or Cape Town with some of SA’s best young entrepreneurs.
Maybe now that SA President Zuma has been appointed to the UN Education Panel he can turn this outrageous #Twitch into a reality, and in the process increase SA's WEF Global Competitiveness Ranking in the Education space from:
    > Health and primary education: 132nd/144 Economies
    > Higher education and training: 84th/144 Economies
  11. MOST OUTRAGEOUS #TWITCH: RUNNERS-UP...
  12. NOTABLE MENTIONS BY THE JUDGES...
